Understanding Our Digital Vehicle Inspection
At Len’s Auto Repair, we believe in keeping you informed and your vehicle safe. Many of you have provided feedback on our Digital Vehicle Inspection (DVI), which we perform if we haven’t serviced your vehicle in the past 3,000 miles. While many customers appreciate this comprehensive check, we understand that some of you may feel it highlights too many non-urgent repairs. We hear you and want to explain why we’ve implemented this process.
Why We Perform the Digital Vehicle Inspection
#1 – Your Safety & Awareness Come First
As your ASE-certified mechanics, it’s our responsibility to inform you of your vehicle’s condition while it’s in our care. Unless you regularly lift your car on a rack or remove the wheels, you likely won’t notice hidden issues. Our trained technicians thoroughly inspect your vehicle to identify any current or potential problems.
After the inspection, we prioritize any recommended repairs and clearly explain which ones are urgent and which can safely wait. Our goal is transparency, ensuring you can make informed decisions about your vehicle’s care.
#2 – Preventing Unpleasant Surprises
Imagine bringing your car in for an expensive repair, picking it up, and then—just days later—your brakes start grinding. We understand how frustrating that would be! Without the DCI, you might face unexpected repairs shortly after another costly fix.
Our inspection helps prevent situations like these by catching potential issues early. In some cases, the inspection has even led us to advise customers not to invest in repairs and instead consider replacing the vehicle. Our primary concern is always your best interest.
Our Promise to You:
- Honest assessments with no pressure.
- Clear prioritization of repairs.
- Your safety and satisfaction at the heart of everything we do.
We appreciate your trust and welcome your feedback. Our goal is to provide exceptional service and keep you and your vehicle on the road safely and confidently.
